WORLD HEART DAY-WALKATHON AT MEDICOVER HOSPITAL
World Heart Day was celebrated at Medicover Hospital with the theme counting as “Don’t Miss a Beat” focusses on identifying hidden or overlooked cardiovascular disease symptoms and understanding preventable risks.
SEA School & College of Nursing students enthusiastically participated in a Walkathon organized at Medicover Hospital, Whitefield, Bengaluru, on 27th September 2026 between 6am-9am to promote health awareness and emphasize the importance of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
The programme focused on creating awareness about regular exercise, healthy lifestyle practices, and preventive healthcare. It also provided students with an opportunity to engage in a community health-promotion activity and understand the importance of maintaining physical fitness and overall well-being. The event was conducted successfully and was an informative and meaningful experience for all the participants.

The Walkathon served as an effective health-promotion activity and encouraged everyone to adopt healthy habits and give importance to physical fitness and preventive healthcare.
