Admission Procedure

Application & Prospectus can be obtained from the college office. The duly filled in application should be submitted to the college office along with the following necessary documents:

  • One Photostat copy of the statement of marks of the qualifying examination 10+2/PUC/PDC.
  • One Photostat copy of the SSLC certificate showing the date of birth.
  • 4 latest Passport Size Photos.
  • One Photostat copy of SC/ST certificate duly certified (if applicable).
  • Transfer Certificate.
  • Conduct Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
  • Medical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
  • Migration Certificate from the University (for Students from outside Karnataka)

ADMISSION CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY

  • The minimum educational qualification required for admission is 10+2/PUC/PDC examination or equivalent examination in Arts/Commerce/Science.
  • Candidate must complete 17 years of age by of commencing academic year.
  • Percentage: 45% (General Category) OR 35% (SC/ST-Only for Karnataka Students).
  • Maximum age limit is 35 years.
  • A Candidate seeking admission should have passed 10+2/PUC/PDC examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with science subjects, Viz., Physics, Chemistry, Biology with aggregate of 45% of marks and English subject is mandatory to get 45%.
  • Candidate must complete 17 years of age by Dec 31 of commencing academic year.
  • Maximum age limit is 35 years.
  • The minimum education requirement shall be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with one year of experience in Clinical/Teaching. PB B.Sc(N) graduates, who have got experience of minimum one year after GNM can directly apply for M.Sc(N).
  • The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
  • Other state students must have Karnataka Nursing Council registration certificate.
  • The candidate seeking admission must hold a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. No experience is required after GNM.
  • The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

  • Maximum age limit is 45 years.
